David Loder is well known
in the Racing world. He has trained many winners, including those for
Sheik Mohammed. I was recently commissioned by his wife Cressy to paint
their daughters for his birthday.
I painted the two portraits at their house near Newmarket, the
headquarters of British racing. They are in oil on Gesso panels 8
inches by 6 inches, a size I have come to favour.
